hi my tascam 424 stops playing after about 3 seconds consistently and for that matter stops rewinding or fastforwarding after about the same amount of tape has passed. i suspect it has to do with the coil magnet assembly which controls the gear wheel because i had to reassemble this and resolder the coil wires. this is an older 424 portastudio (the brownish one) any help would be amazing, thanks.
