    300 vs 500 mixer series

    I tried googling this, but came up empty.

    Tonally, what's the difference between the 300b series and the 500 series? I understand that the 500s came out earlier.

    I'm looking for a darker tone, and don't mind noise too much

    The 300 series is a later set of products.It has a dedicated stereo output buss,unlike the 500 series which made you use "Group 1 and 2 for stereo outs."Darker" is a subjective term-u.se EQ
