    "white" notes in MIDI?

i was sequencing some MIDI last night. But I don't have a keyboard (piano type) so I was inputting the notes with the mouse/draw tool. About half way done, I "drew" a note, and it appeared as white, and doesn't play a sound. I deleted it and tried again and got the same thing. I tried deleting it and alt-copying another note to it's place, but it turned into the same thing.

    what is going on?

A white midi note is a muted note. So click on the mute knob and unmute it.

    Cheers

There should be a button in the MIDI toolbar for it. I think it looks like a speaker. You just click on the button, and then click on the note to mute and unmute.

    That's the one.

Almost like a speaker, except an X instead.

Shows how long it's been since I made any music.
