What are the best free Cubase VST plugins?

I used to use an EQ that was supposed to have been based on the EMU Paris sytem EQ. I though it was excellent. However, I'm not sure where to download it now. Here's a link to a description, but the download link doesn't seem to work. Maybe a little Google'ing will find it.

Go to kvr and then go into the forums. At the top, there is a forum for beginners, inside it there is a thread that the description says "what is the best...ect" or something close to that. Inside the thread there is a link to the best effects, commercial and free, and vsti's, commercial and free as voted by the users of kvr. You can click the link to each of the recommended effects and vsti's.

It will give you a good start with some solid effects.
 
Sample Tank

I use Sample Tank Free and Sonik Synth Free with Cubase. Those have a nice assortment of free sounds. They are not updated very often, but they work for what I need them for. The only thing with these two free programs is that you can not import and you can not save your settings.
