Is Wavelab the best Wav Editor? If so, why?I have been using Sound Forge for a little while, but recently read an article that focused on the 3D waveform representation (frequency analysis function) found in Wavelab.
This approach makes more sense to me, in terms of identifying frequency bands where noise occurs; & then eliminating the noise more readily by being able to accordingly adjust the gate.

Wanted to get some comparitive input between the two systems (Steinberg & Sonic Foundry), or maybe some consideration of other mfg.'s as well.

Thanks in advance.
