SX on Windows98

Anyone running Cubase SX on Windows98 SE? The system requirements say 2000 or XP, but the demo seems to run fine on my Win98 SE PC. Wondering if I'll have to upgrade my OS before buying. Thanks.

I had to take my copy back 'coz I run '98.


Oh well. Had to spend the money on a new guitar instead........ Life is hard.

If I remember right, Steinberg says that SX WILL run on Win98, but they aren't supporting it. That is one of the things preventing me from updating to SX myself.

sx was developped on win2k. But the latest update they did, SX 1.0.5.61 is ok for 98. BUT, I think, me too, that they dont support it.

First of all, I have to say once again that my english really sucks and u have 2 excuse me.

I use Sx with xp and he is doing a nice job. The latest version of sx work really nice on 98 but what is the point ? Sx is an better platform than 98. Sx wasoptimized for xp and I say that xp is its pltform to work with

Yes it runs on 98.

No Steinberg doesn't support it.

XP runs rock solid and is worth the upgrade.
