New poster, great to find this resource. Hopefully someone can help. I am running Cubase 6.0.0 on a PC, plenty of power etc, Windows 7. I have just gotten a Focusrite Saffire 6 USB. I am finding when I record audio, it does not sync to the click in Cubase. I.E. I play along with the click, generated by the program, and then on playback they are not in sync. Any ideas for how to fix this? Is this normal behavior? There is obviously latency, and I moved the buffers down to 512, but short of MOVING the part forward on the timeline, I can't seem to fix this. That is not how I want to fix it!
I am actually pretty experienced, have been running Cubase since VST days, although I'm a semi-pro. I used to have a Saffire PRO 10, and before that an old Echo Layla unit, and never had this issue.
