select input?

Hi, I'm pretty new to this digital recording thing. I've got a firepod and am using Cubase SE on Mac OSX 10.4. Now I think I've figured out how to get cubase to recognize the firepod... but how do I select the input for each track? I thought I almost had it....

First go to the devices menu and select "VST inputs." Make sure all the firepod inputs that you want to use are active. Then, on your mixer view, at the top of each channel, there should be a box that says what input is routed to that channel. If you click it, you can change the input routing.

yep, when I set up Cubase for use with my Delta 44 card I had to delete the default VST input setting and add my own. I set up 4 mono inputs and if I plan to record a stereo track I just use to separate tracks and bounce them down to 1.

you can create a stereo input for that.
