sample rate change

im running SX3 W/ tascam us-428

my default project set up

1. 24bit record / 44.1 sample rate

everytime i open my saved project there always popup saying " sample rate has changed" then when i play the project it plays in a real fast tempo in a higher pitch

what is causing this
 
SOunds like Cubase is currently set to receive its clocking source form another unit. Sound liek this unit is sendind 48khz or higher as a clocking source.
