Probleme bei Midi Aufnahme/Loop

Moin Moin!

"I have a little question here about midi recording under Cubase 5.

"I bought a midi keyboard / drum pad (Akai MPK Mini MKII) and now connected to Cubase. There I created an instrument track and now I want to record a small part that I would like to loop. I used to do it with instruments and it worked very easily.

"So here, too, but there is a big problem that I just can't get solved: I mark an area and let it loop, which allows me to take several pictures in a row and then choose the best one (Stacked). The problem is: If I play a note at the end of the range that virtually goes out of the range, there is always a short interruption between the loops if I want to use this recording and loop. So he doesn't play the note continuously. Sometimes he shifts the entire note into the next area as if it were not possible to have a note sounding continuously from one to the next area (in other words: as if it were not possible to put half of the note at the end of the loop and the to put the other half of the note at the beginning of the following loop). Funny to explain, but I hope it's understandable.

"I would be very grateful for your help, I've already tried sooo much and just can't get any further ..

"Best regards, Micha"

Over to Cubase experts, and here's hoping Micha can understand English.

(But I guess he could equally do a Foogle translate)
