Loading a project file into another project file

Is it possible to load a pojrect file into another project file?

There are some elements in one project file that I'd like to move into another project.

After doing a google search, the only thing I could find was something about using "chunks," but I have no idea what that means.

Open both projects at once, and pull whatever you want from one into the other.
 
How do I do that? When I try to drag tracks from one project to another, it won't let me.

(edit: nevermind, I got it to work)
 
Just for info...you can export entire seperate tracks and all their settings using the export function, and import them into other projects.
