What's happened to midi?
Does anyone know?
I record midi (such things as retrologue or padshop, contact etc) Previous recordings play
But when you open up a new track to record midi, it wont record it, even though the retrologue, or whatever synth you've opened on the screen, the keyboard plays and the sound comes out.
The real life keyboard that is wired into midi won't play. ALSO....
Whenever I open up Cubase, this window appears; e licenser control message: soft e licenser doesn't have enough permissions to run LLC to fix this problem...….Does this have anything to do with it?
I bought this Cubase 9.5 last year and it came with a dongle or memory stick. I have upgraded the latest info on it.....Do I need some sort of new code to type in? If so where do I get this?
Or does this have nothing to do with it?
Thanks

Sound like you have a temp license for Cubase. It has been a long time since I have dealt with this.

Try to open elicenser and update it.

Otherwise go to the Steinberg.net forum and ask there.
