cubase batch export

Would someone be so kind as to download a project and send me back the wave files from a batch export?

I have an old song from when I was using cubase that I'd like to get mixed and mastered, but I use Logic now.

Thanks for your time,

-Ethan

p.s. It's audio only

I can do that if I have the sounds you recorded it with in my machine.

drop me a PM and I'll do it in the morning.

If it's audio, you have the wav files already that you could put into Logic??

Yep. I would do it as well if there is a version issue or missing vst.

I am assuming though that you just want the original wav files without effects.

I did the files for Ethan, but I think he's away or something as he's not around? The usual cubase thing - lots of clips all over the place, so I did wonder how much space they'd take up with minutes of silence on the start, but was really surprised how the big wav files could be shrunk when zipped. Nothing to do with the topic, but I rarely zip up wavs, and hadn't given much thought to how compressible silence was!

Yeah, I have noticed that as well. 'Nothing' is still something.

I never quite understood the zip compression thing myself. A 'mind blown' kind of thing. I may need to Google how a 'zipped file' is smaller than actual wav files. Just like a DDP file for CD duplication. How the fuck is that a quicker file to send/download than the actual wav files?

Majic voodoodoo! lol!
