I have Nuendo 10 at work, when I click a clip, it does NOT change color, it stays the same color. There is a RED outline.

at home on Cubase 10, select a clip and it totally changes color which I DO NOT like. How I can remove this color change. So many menu items to choose from, what do they all mean, who knows.

    Thanks for any help.

Do you mean how selected event has a black background instead of light gray?

I am not sure that a 'clip' has a different meaning than an 'event'.

I have no experience with Nuendo and am on Cubase 9.4, so I may be of no help anyway.

There is much you can change in Preferences. Maybe start there?
