Anteres Auto tune plug

I'm having a problem with this plug in Sound Forge 6. I highlight an area of the wave file, treat with auto tune, hit ok, it shows it's processing the change, but when I listen to the file the autotune hasn't stuck...it's still out of tune, like the processing didn't take. Anyone have an idea what's up with that? Thanks for the help.
BTW- the auto tune is a dx plug and I'm running everything on a pc.

I'm using the Dx plug and Acid - but I just edit the audio in Sound Forge (create a separate AT track) - I generally have trouble with DX plugs in Acid - mebbe not enough horsepower in my PC?

is it running in realtime? or actually proccessing and replacing the file?
