VS+SCMS

A hypothetical question:If you record a mix of VS tracks to a consumer CD recorder(such as Pioneer PDR-509 or Phillips 775)using a consumer disc via S/PDIF,and then rerecord the result(bounce)back to the VS ,is the resulting pair of tracks now on the VS machine(880EX in this case)necessarily SCMS encoded? I'm thinking that there's a possibility that the answer is no,since the originak source tracks going into the consumer deck were not SCMS encoded.Anyone?

If you make a digital copy wich is encoded, whatever the code is, that code will be reproduced where ever you copy it to.

If you record a CD over analog inputs, and than burn it to a CD, you have skipped the encoding beat.
