Splitting up a big file on VS-1880

I have a VS1880 problem. I suspect the answer is something pretty basic, but I can't figure it out.

I recorded a stage play on one channel. I want to get it off my machine, but keep the material in case I need it. I was going to dump it to a CD. But it runs to two hours, so it's too much material to burn to a CD.

Anybody have a series of steps I could follow to split the file?

I have a VS880EX, what I would do, is set markers or locators where I want the cuts, copy the song, erase the parts after the first cut on the copy, name and save. Copy again, remove the first section, jump ahead to the next marker, erase to the end, repeat until you have a bunch of little songs. Make sure you Optomize after erasing, or your drive will fill up.

EDIT: If you just want to archive, the CD burning process should be prompting you to scan more than one disc, and telling you when to switch them.

EDITED EDIT: Do you have a SCSI burner, or how are you saving now?

RE-EDITED EDIT OF THE EDIT: If it's one track, you could just use the digital out on the Roland, into your computer, and save it as a WAV on your hard drive.
