HELP one side of my display screen is black on my 1680!!!!

I was recording and I looked over and it was black, I tried rebboting and tried starting it up later to see if it went away but it is still there. Is there any way I can fix this. How much would this cost about to take in to get fixed, Can it even be fixed???

This is a expensive toy and I dont think Im in the warranty no more!!!

Any advice would help! ! !
 
I hate to state the obvious. But this sounds very serious to me. I would not try to fix it myself. Do they have a tech support you can call?

i went to there site looking for a number cant find one or an email anywere! ! ! im desperate,


does anyone nkow if local repair shops can fix this stuff! ! ! ! !
 
do you know if this will be expensive? has anyone ever had this happen with theres?

have you guys had any other problems with your Roland digital recorders???

Im thinking of fixing this and selling it and getting a new 880?
any thoughts on this?
