No sound during playback

I posted about this in the newbies forum but haven't had any replies yet. My problem is I'll record a guitar track through my amp but I can't hear it when I play it back. I get a signal and everything but I can't figure out what's wrong. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks.
I'm using Pro Tools 8 with an Mbox2 mini on a Mac.

in other words, do you have Input only (the green I) lit up on the track?

Yeah you guys are right, I had input only monirotring turned on. Thanks a lot! Its funny how something small can cause a huge headache.

LE doesn't have this. It's only available on HD.

There's only the option within the "Track" menu.
