Humming Noise

Ok, my problem is this, I have the digi 002r and I am using a video card with dual monitors(can't think of the name of the card) When I turn the computer on I get a constant humming but when I unplug one of the monitors then the humming stops, does anyone know why this is happening and how can I get it to stop?

Sounds like a ground loop... I'm sure there's a better (and safer) way to fix it, but try removing (or use an adapter) to eliminate the ground plug from the electrical outlet of one of the monitors. If it stops, then that would explain your problem.

I'm almost sure that someone else has a better way to fix the problem, but that's my guess.

Thx, I will check that at the studio but I think all of it is plugged into one of those 6 plug adapters.
