control surfaces

Can I use any old control surface when using protools LE running through an m-box 2?

or must i use a predetermined "digidesign" interface?


i.e
-mixers?
-midi keyboards?
-ETC.

Any control surface that send Machine code, HUI, or any MIDI device and mixer.

Two things worth checking out I think:

Behringer BCF2000
and M-Audio Axiom Pro

Not used the Behringer, but it's the cheapest 8 faders you'll find.

The Axiom Pro I have, and it's pretty sweet if you need a keyboard too.

matter fact im getting 2 of them wen my taxes come in. thats 16 moving faders, pan pots, mute buttons and solo buttons as well as record and playback/stop for $300.

Thats a steal where i come from
