Connecting a MIDI keyboard to an Mbox 2 Mini

Hey,

I'd like to connect an old Casio keyboard with MIDI In/Out to my PC, both to Pro Tools and perhaps to software like Guitar Pro. I've got an Mbox 2 Mini, which doesn't have MIDI connections.

Is it possible to get something like a MIDI to jack lead or adapter so that I can connect the keyboard to one of the Mbox's inputs and use it that way? If I buy a MIDI to USB adapter off eBay, can I connect that to Pro Tools somehow or will it only accept inputs that are physically plugged into the Mbox?

What's the best way to go about this?

Either get a keyboard with a USB connection, or buy a USB Midi Interface, such as the M-Audio USB Midisport or Uno USB.

Okay cheers. So, if I get one of the MIDI interfaces that isn't specifically for Pro Tools, will PT still recognise and allow me to use it? As obviously the only interfaces are the ones on my Mbox.
