I have a SCSI zip drive on it's way to use with my fd-4... I saw in the manual a SCSI terminator being used also.... what is it?
do I need it to record? any replies are appreciated....

I agree with Pbass75. I had the same question a couple of weeks ago. I could not find a 25-pin scsi terminator. But there is a switch on the back to set termination to 'on' and you are set to go.

I just got an FD-4 and am dealing with this same issue. I have an external 100mb zip drive that plugs into the printer port on my PC. Is this a SCSI drive?

Clally, I doubt that your Zip drive is a SCSI drive if it plugs straight into your PC. Most computers need a SCSI adapter card. If you can't find a SCSI Zip or Orb drive locally, you can find them on the internet at Buy.com or CompUSA.com

peace, Jim
