Okay, so me and my buddy have linked our two machines up and they appear to be talking to each other and so we record something on his FD8 (my DMT 8vls being the master- all trax full) and it records the new part fine. But upon playback the new recorded part comes in early. We've fiddled around with frame rates and we have the MTC code matched up ok. When we playback, and stop at various intervals, the time clocks on both machines are identical most of the time but then other times the clocks are a few milliseconds off. Then they'll be synched back the next time we stop playback. It's just too damn weird man. Help! I don't have much hair left to pull out! What's goin on?
