help with Fostex D160

I have bought a Fostex D160 digital 16 track recorder from a friend, I want to start my own home studio but I dont know what mixer to get that will work with the D160, can anyone:):) give me some simple advice as to a mixer I could use?.
 
Pretty much any mixer will do min 16 tracks... You could even use your DAW as a mixer.. Look into Mackie, Soundcraft, Allen & Heath, if you are more on a budget check out Behringer, Alto, Phonic, Alesis..
 
Look for either a s/hand S/craft Spirit Studio or Mackie 8 Buss in 16 or 24 channel versions. Both these consoles are designed around project studio recording with both direct outs and tape returns on each channel, etc.

Being in the UK, I'd suggest you focus on the S/craft.

Good Eye.. I didn't know you were in the UK.. Great choice (Soundcraft)...
