i have an fd-8 and the controls do seem a little wimpy huh?i guess ya get what ya pay for or so they say..so im not gonna worry about it until something actually breaks..but over all im pretty happy with my machine and actually look forward to the new fostex VF-16
I have had my FD-4 for a few days now, and I am concerned that the knobs, switches, and jacks don't seem very durable (I know, I know, it's an inexpensive machine!). I am especially nervous about plugging mics into the xlr jacks, as I feel like they will break off and get jammed into the case. has anybody had trouble with breakage?
