i have this problem. my fd-4 unit just starts cutting on and off after about 2mins. of use. the edit screen also flashes on and off. this is odd because it just happened out of nowhere. for the 3weeks i've had the fd-4 it worked perfectly, and then boom this happens. i personally feel it might be a short in the power chord or a power surge malfunction but my electronics experience ends with guesses so anyone else is as good as gold.
