capstan motor for Fostex B16

Hi, if anyone out there in home recording land has any idea about where to find hard to find parts i.e. capstan motor for a B16, I would greatly appreciate any help. It's not that I have anything against new technology, but I love the old stuff even better. Johnny La Rue
 
contact fostex. ive contacted them about heads for a B16, and they still have them.. so im sure they will still have the motors for it. if not, well, you are probbaly going to have to find some electrical engineer who can do it for you to the specs in the maintanence manual. and that, well probably be a bit costly.
 
Thanks, I'd been led to believe that Fostex no longer bothered with parts for their own machines. I was told that by the leading electronics dealer in Vancouver. I notice that the Fostex web page takes e-mail from the states only. If you can still get heads, maybe I'm not out of luck. Thanks again. I'll let you know how I make out.
