Belt for Fostex A-2

Hi,

I purchased a Fostex A-2 when it was new and it has not been used in many years because I have not been able to locate a capstan belt. Does anyone have a source for one ? I really liked that machine and it's a shame I can't use it because of this.

Try measureing the old belt ( length, width, thickness) and go to MCMinone.com . You may be able to find the right size belt there. You can go a little smaller but not bigger.
If the old belt is not available, use a piece of string or similar to get length then figure out the rest from pulley sizes.
