MIDI keyboard in Reaper

I don't often use my keyboard to input MID VSTi-synth tracks (been over a year since last time).

So last night I record one track, listen back, playing with some things, don't notice the keyboard shut off automatically.
Load up another track with a different VSTi synth, can't get it to work. Realize the keyboard is off, turn it back on, go back to the Preferences>options, still can't get anything. Finally found a button that reloads the MIDI devices, . That was a wasted 15 minutes!

Where is that button? My e-kit shuts off after like 15 minutes, and I usually just shut down and restart Reaper so it'll find it again. I'd get a ton of use out of a "reload MIDI devices" button!

It's in the Preferences > Options > MIDI Devices window somewhere, I think. Wish I could remember what to hit when turning on the Casio to keep it's auto-shutoff from working!
