Reducing one effect while increasing different effect (AA3)

Hello folks,

I would like some guidance with an sound effect I want to accomplish using two separate effects on a guitar track in Audition 3. I am doing this in Multi-track view.

I have a guitar track that I want to apply the EQ to an 'Old Time Radio' effect from the start and then moves to normal a EQ during a 10 second interval. During this time, I want to increase a stereo widening effect, which will remain for the remainder of the song. The latter, Stereo Widening, I can accomplish using automation, for the life of me I can not figure out how to remove the 'Old Time Radio' effect.

Any ideas?

Copy your track a couple of times. Keep one "dry", apply "old time radio" to one of the copies and the stereo widening to the other, then use automation or envelopes to mix among the three as required.
