Pitch is lowered on Playback in CS6 - what happened?

I've never had this happen. I've been using CS6 daily for over a year. I recorded at 441, 24-bit, saved as a WAV, and now on playback the pitch is drastically lowered. I'm recording voiceover using a presonus Audiobox USB - is there some setting that changed itself??

Check that your sample rate setting throughout the system is set to 44.1 to match your recording. This sort of think is almost always because something is set to the wrong sample rate, be it Audition or your interface. If you leave the interface connected constantly, the dreaded Windows Vista/7/8 sometimes grabs things and resets them for you.
