Multitrack Files not playing back

Hi. I am having a problem here. My multitracks will not play back for some odd reason. If I isolate one track and click the edit view button, that particular track will play fine. When I go back to multitrack view, the files won't play.

What's going on here? Any suggestions anyone? Please send them soon as we have a deadline to have the mixing done. We're getting the disc pressed at the end of April.

Are you using Adobe Audition 2,0?
If "YES": Check up your Audio Hardware Setup! Maybe you are not running full duplex in card options.
 
No, I'm using Cool Edit Pro v. 2. I have the output settings on the tracks to run to my Firepod and it was working fine yesterday.
