Midi with cool edit pro.

I just got my computer about a month ago and I just got cool edit pro. I used to have a roland 1680 to mix down my music but now i'm using the computer. I want to mix down to cool edit pro and I used to midi my MPC2000xl to my roland to do this before. I want to know how I can trigger my MPC with cool edit pro. I'm using a delta 1010 soundcard if that helps. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
 
CEP pretty much sux for midi. ... but you can do it. I dont know how, tho. BUT you do need a MIDI interface, which the 1010 has.....

Off the top of my head Id recommend a more midi-happy prog... unless someone else has the powers..
