Media sweeper...?

I don`t understand enough about files to use this program..Can anyone dumb it down for me? I wanna clean my computer of all the files that clog my drives that I cant find but Media Sweeper mat as well be in french to me...I feel like I am going to move files that I need. I want to get rid of the ones that are left over from trial and error recording. Thanks

Are you sure you don't have the french version?

The manual and app should be pretty clear but...

Simply select the session file and it will tell you (in the top pane) what files are required and if they can be found.
Everything else that it finds (in the lower pane) isn't needed by the session

You can then refine that 'un-needed' list to NOT remove particular types of files eg *.mix or *.doc or lyrics.*

Once you initiate the 'cleaning' all unwanted files are moved to the folder of your choice (and you can delete them if you wish later)
