hi all,
I have a job for a museum: I have to put several tapes on Cd, cut out the best peices and get better sound quality. I have allready some experience with that kind of work, so the job isn't that much of a problem.
the only thing I found hard is the hiss removal on some of the really bad recorded peices. I have one peice where EQ'ing doesn't help a lot, the noise seems te be on every frequenty, and the traditional standard hiss removal in Cool Edit removes a little without changing the sound with the right settings, but still I haven't got quite the sound that I need.
Any suggetsions?
