Greetings -

Hoping for some assistance in finding the correct
settings for achieving A telephone-quality sound
for recording voice on my microphone (speaking
voice) .. [quite often called 'filter' in radio/broadcasting]

I have CEP 1.2 ..

Many thanks in advance ..

try Effects > filters > parametric EQ > old time radio. maybe you can just tweak that a little bit.

Try dialing in this EQ:

Hz. Gain Q
160 -24 12
320 6.17 3.6
2560 10.3 4
3570 -24 12
6450 -10 1.2

For added fun, throw in a low/high cut.

This is really extreme, so play around with it.

Effects, Filters, FFT Filters - There are two telephone presets.

Not sure if those are in 1.2 or not, I've only been a user since 2.0 was released.

Many MANY thanks ..

My apologies for being away from the forum for
nearly a week .. Many MANY thanks to all you guys
for your suggestions .. I am in the process of trying them ..
and they ALL seem terrific !! I really ought to have figured
all this out for myself .. but .. however ..

I have another question about the saving of sessions .. and
the re-opening of them .. but I'll come back to the forum
again in a few days ..

Thanks again ..
