Okay...You know the tracks you start recording and you mess up or you are just recording to check levels and whatnot and then you right click on them and click delete and start over again on the same armed track....Do those really get deleted or are they hiding somewhere taking up space on my drives?
Clicking on a clip in AA3 then hitting "Delete" on your keyboard will remove it from the multitrack, but it will still stay in the playlist.
Clicking on a clip, then hitting "Shift + Backspace" will remove it from the multitrack view as well as from the playlist.
Neither of these options will delete the clip from your hard drive. There are some third-party utilities out there to do this. My favorite is Audio File Cleanup 3.0. I paid for the full version and I love it.
