I'm considering getting the Lexicon Core 2 soundcard from Sweetwater. It comes bundled with a "lite" version of Cool Edit Pro. Is anyone familiar with this? Is it any good? (I'm a newbie; will it be easy to use for the "unwashed"?) Thanks for any replies! Keith

If 'lite' means the same as 'special edition' (CEPSE), then it's the basic program without effects. You'll be able to record, save, do basic editing, things like that.

Actually, in technical terms, it is exactly halfthe calories as cool edit pro. BUt 100% flavor!
