coll edito pro..wont record all of a sudden?

hi guys, long time user of coll edit first time caller :)

anyways

been using it for along long time now and all of a sudden i cannot record with it

IE i input my guitar to the microphone.. and i can hear playback through my speakers...but cool edit doesnt record it..

checked all my card settings volumes etc and they are all fine...for the reason that windows soudn recorder will actually record the sound but now cool edit wont..have reinstaleld etc and still same deal

any suggestions?

using a sound blaster live value card with windows xp and cooledit pro 1.2a

Under cool edit options see what sound card is selected as wave in, it is just settings so dont freak out. PLay around in the options and high light your soundcard.
