O.K. I'm kinda new to this whole producer thing so i need to know what's the best reverb on cool edit for a female vocalist. To help you out even more she's a high altoe-(misspelled), but shows some signs of being a possible soprano. if any one can help me...please do so and thankz

best reverb on cool edit for a female vocalist...

Record her vocals and then play it back in Edit View with one of the reverb programs in Preview. Experiment with predelay, frequency response, %wet/dry and so on. That's how we ALL do it. Eventually we find favorites and unfavorites, which narrows it down, but you may then run into a client who wants to hear all the possible verbs anyway...but by then you'll have some familiarity with what they do.

dupe the track in cool. on the dupe..
try 55msecs to 100 setting...50/50 wet dry and go from there. experiment.
bring fader of dupe under original. mix to taste.

Try the 'Quick Verb' under 'Delay Effects'.

Start with the Vocal & Plate Presets and adjust to your liking.

In 'Full Reverb', you can drill down even more.

trig :)

LP's right, by the way. The "right" reverb totally depends on things like the tempo of the song, the genre, and sometimes even the subject matter in addition to the sound of the vocal. Small plates can be a good starting point for fem vox. Just keep in mind that as with everything else, less is usually more.
