Audition CS6 Crash Recovery Fail

I recorded an event last night straight into Audition CS6, and after a rare Audition crash, I can not recover the files. The crash occurred after the event ended and an A/V person pulled the 1/8th adapter out of my microphone jack. :facepalm:

I get this error when I try to open:

Audition Debug Event

\..\..\AudioFileSubSystem\private\AudioFileSystem.cpp-226]

And Audition crashes. I've located the temp files, but have no idea how to open them, or what I would do after. Any help would be much appreciated!! :guitar:
 
Assuming you were recording in Multitrack then the audio should be written direct to disk
 
I had the same problem, audition crash restarted my pc. i reinstalled audition from the scratch, and cleaned my disks so there is at least 10gb of space, and it works fine now :)
