Being somewhat new to the whole loop creation thing, I've found myself confused at times. So many programs and tools; so little available brain power at my disposal.
As of now, I create my percussion beds in Sonar, then export to Sound Forge as a stereo .wav to crop and trim to size. Basically, I just use the playback/looping function and trim until the file loops the way I want it.
Then I import back into Sonar and groove loop it for painting.
So far I'm having good luck with this method, but I'm curious as to other possibly more practical and accurate methods.
