I am testing the demo of Native Instruments' B4 Hammond organ. Sometimes, usually when looping, the whole system will lock up. I don't even get a drop-out message. I can only press ctrl alt del and wait for a long time before being able to end Sonar. Everything is in slow motion.
Now, it seems this problem only occurs when I run VSampler 3.04 simultaneously.
This is the same on my music computer 2.4 GHz, 1 GB RAM, XP and my portable Centrino 1.7 GHz, 1GB RAM, XP. The music computer has been tweaked (www.musicxp.net), but the portable has not. There is like 700 MB of RAM free, so that's not the problem. Sonar runs around 40% of cpu, and I have very long latency 90 ms or so.
Any ideas? If I can get this to work I will probably buy the NI B4, though mainly for the Leslie to be used for samples of a real B3.
