With Sonar X1 x64 WDM/KS project bit depth always 16

I'm trying to setup Sonar X1 64bit on my Windows 7 x64 box. I'm wanting to use 96kHz and 24bit for my projects but its not working.

I'm using the WDM/KS so I put the setting Use24BitExtensible in the AUD.INI file as instructed but it doesn't work.

On my XP x86 (32bit) box with Sonar X1 32bit, I had no trouble and didn't even need the ini file setting (although I only use 48kHz on that box).


Is anyone else having trouble with it or is there someone who can help me fix it?

I'm using a SonicCell.

I have noticed that on the Win 7 x64 box with 64bit Sonar, the drivers are reporting 16, 24 and 32 bit availability. I don't think this was the case with the 32bit Sonar LE I was using before on that box. They were just reporting what I'd set for the Windows audio device.
