PROBLEMS: Syncronization MIDI with AUDIO

I am using Cakewalk Pro 8.04 and when i play a audio with midi file (even with i reccord audio with a metronome on midi) the midi
have problems.. it is not perfect... have dalayed time, it not plays exactly when it have to play.

I had a PENTIUM II 333 WITH A ASUS P2B working with 128 RAM 66 Mhz and now i have a ASUS P3C2000 with PENTIUM III 533 working on
133 Mhz and 128 RAM working on 100 Mhz... i didn't reinstalled Windows 98, just updated the system devices... it influencies ?
Before the midi was OK !

I had the same problem. Go to tools/audio options/advanced then click "use wave out position for timing". That solved my problem
