Problem with recording midi

My midi tracks once recorded sometimes decide to "autoquantize" to anything BUT what they were originally intended to sound like. What could be causing this?!
I use a PIV 1.6GHZ
512 MB of RAM
Win 2000
Sonar
Roland MGS-64 Midi Sound Module
SB Platinum Live sound card

Thanks,
Carlos

I don't think Sonar will do autoquatize by default. It doesn't have any option that alowed you to do autoquzntize thing. Record first, quantize latter by simply Quantize, or Groove Quantize. If you mean the track you've recorded seems like out of tempo or being glitchy, then it may be the timing / tempo problem. Check your track's Piano Roll and make sure your data is not snaped to grid. If your data is NOT snaped (...you can tell if it's being quantized) to grid, then it must be the playback timing problem (we can talk latter about it...). If it looks too good (being snaped) then you may curious if you have certain CAL command activated in background that try to "autoquantize" the track right after you've recorded it without telling you...
