I am very new to the home recording process but i am learning slowly. I am having problems with the playback of instruments while i am recording them. There is a delay that makes it impossible to hear what i am playing. I have tried to mess with the buffer size but it only sounds extremely bad when i lower it. I have tried to mute the channel i am recording so i wont hear the delay but that doesnt work either. I use cakewalk sonar 1.0, i have a delta 44 soundcard and a behringer UB1662FX mixer. If any one has any suggestions that would be great thanks a million.
