I recently began having a problem when recording to Professional 8.0. I'm connected to a Korg x5D as my sole synth being used.
During recording, sometimes when I play a note the sound is delayed and sounds later than it should, or it sounds clipped. I think I remember reading somewhere that I need to edit my buffering, but I can't remember the details or where I read it. Any ideas??
Also, (I connect my pc to synth via the regular pc soundcard which has the midi in/out cables) If I want to sync Cakewalk with my Tascam 564, 4 track recorder, would I connect a midi cable from the thru on my synth to the midi in of the Tascam, then set Cakewalk as the clock master and the Tascam as midi slave??
