Mute All?

Am I missing anything? I would like a way to mute all tracks. The application would be prior to mixing down a DXi synth to audio... I would mute all, then unmute the DXi track then bounce to audio.

Any way to do this?

There may be other ways, but this works:

Edit > Select > All (or Ctrl + A if you prefer the keyboard)

Then "right click" in any unused area in the left pane of Track View and choose "mute" from the pop-up menu.

Using Sonar 2.2XL, right click in the toolbar area and check 'Playback State'. Using that toobar you can either Mute/Un-Mute all tracks, Solo/Un-Solo all tracks, Arm/Un-Arm all tracks, and lastly play all tracks in mono. See the image below..

I will try, but I am pretty sure that the solo button does not allow for the bouncing of midi tracks. Again, I may be wrong...

As long as they're connected to an DXi and Audio track (and the audio-track is soloed), you'll be allright. The same for recording the MIDI from an external source. :)
